ADHD Conversations
A monthly-ish drop-in gathering for therapist
.
Join me for an insightful gathering aimed at fostering knowledge exchange and mutual support in our work with clients with ADHD and neurodiversities. For those unfamiliar, I was diagnosed with ADHD in high school during the late '90s. Post-college, my journey led me to work at UVM, where I engaged with students through the dean's office while pursuing my Master's Degree. During my counseling degree, I was also trying to come to terms with how my brain worked, what kinds of accommodations I needed, how to advocate for myself, and what strategies worked for me. I did my internship working at Howard Development Services, which introduced me to a wide range of neurodiversity. In my private practice, I've integrated ADHD coaching and executive functioning support as part of the therapeutic process.
The landscape of ADHD management has evolved with heightened understanding, awareness, and advancements in medication and technology. I’m excited to navigate this interesting terrain together and enhance our collective understanding. Your presence will contribute to the richness of our discussions, making this event a valuable opportunity for professional growth.
I am planning on doing these monthly or bi-monthly and hopefully offering CE’s as get into the swing of it all, so if you can’t make this time, let me know and let me a time that would work for you!
